Saturday night under the lights at Soaring Edge, Greenwood, NE

Gary Shellberg and Thomas Cox rode for WiigStyle Racing under the lights. This was the last race of the Midwest Motocross Series. Thomas and Gary both brought home championships.

Thomas had great rides all night long. He even pulled the holeshot on his KX125. Thomas rode great and continued to impress me with his ability to get better and better at every race.

Gary “The Flyin Fossil” Shellberg was the main attraction of the night! Gary needed to only ride around the track and take it easy and he would walk away with two championships. Unfortunetly Gary decided to crash and hurt himself in his second moto of the night. Instead of sitting it out and taking it easy he got back on his bike and finished the race. During the intermission and constant ambulance rides for others he regained strength and loosened up his angles to finish his last two motos. Gary walked away with his championships and met his goal of NO DNF’s for the season.  Congratulations Shellberg!!
