Harrison County Fair Race

8:22 pm Racing News

Midwest Motocross Series headed to Missouri Valley on Saturday the 25th.

A big thank you needs to be given to Mark, Josh and the fair board for putting on an event with such limited time. The track was a very fast, tight, and sandy arenacross style track. With many sections of whoops, rollers, a couple doubles, and a sweet off camber sand hill leading into the single, double, double section.

WiigStyle Racing riders that were in attendance: Gary Shellberg, Josh McMullen, Grant McMullen, Zach Wiig, Zack Hinze, Thomas Cox, and Loren Williams.

Grant McMullen, and Thomas Cox had the interesting nights. One being plagued by stalling out, a bale cover, and other riders crashing either around or into them. Thomas Cox had the best races of the night. Going into this Weekend Thomas was riding his WiigStyle Racing “Green Plague” Kawasaki with a complete fresh engine and suspension. Thomas had great holeshots in every moto. Thomas was either in second or third coming out of the first turn. Grant McMullen was plagued in the 250C class but had a great 125C class holeshot every moto. Grant managed to pick-up a bale cover and a dirtbike in the 250C class. It was a great race!

Zack Hinze was plagued by bad starts, and a stalled out bike.

Josh “Factory 375″ McMullen had a great Vet A race.

Gary Shellberg rode the Vet B and Fossil classes. Gary rode stiff as a board and managed to not wreck. Gary finished off the pace but in one piece.

Zach Wiig raced the Collegeboy class and finished 3rd.
